I'm good at researching and I have help from my family and fiancé...
Do I really need a wedding planner?
Some couples honestly feel they have the knowledge and time to plan their
wedding. Some couples know what they want and know where to get it, or
maybe they are throwing a small intimate party for their reception and don't
need a lot of help. We have found it to be true that a capable wedding
coordinator is important for almost all weddings, simply to keep everything
smooth and on schedule so the bride doesn't have to worry about anything.
But if you're here reading this, chances are there is some kind of planning
pain you're experiencing. You're looking for the best advice and someone to
understand what you're looking for, and help you bring it all together.
What's the difference between a wedding planner, wedding coordinator,
wedding director and wedding designer?
Generally, though confusing, these terms are often used interchangeably. To
us a wedding planner is someone who helps plan the details of the wedding,
collaborating with a couple to help make sure everything becomes the best it
can be within the couple's budget. She keeps you on track with your budget
so you have the peace of mind that nothing will get out of control. She is
your organizer, your liaison, and the person you rely on. A wedding
planner, though, often encompasses all of the other titles and
responsibilities... Coordinating the itinerary and schedule for the planning
process and the wedding day. Directing the wedding day, including
organizing the time line, the other vendors, and the ceremony processional.
Helping the couple determine the style and theme for the design of their
wedding, based on their personalities, and fine tuning what they envision.
It's helpful to know that the term "wedding designer" sometimes ONLY refers
to a vendor who handles decor, such as a florist. But a wedding planner
who also designs really helps pull everything together, all the elements and
atmosphere of the entire event working together and representing the couple.
Different wedding planners have different styles of providing their services,
though, and not all planners also coordinate, direct and design. It's almost
like any other relationship - some wedding planners are great fits for some
couples. Every planner has a different specialty (or they should, at least!). So
the wedding pro(s) you choose should be able to tell you how your
experience will be different with them, and you should connect with that.
I need/I've been working with a floral designer... Do you do that too?
We are wedding designers as part of the planning process... Many wedding designers or floral designers will design and sell or rent you products
from their own collections or wholesalers. We do things a little differently... We don't limit you to our own collections or specific vendors for
supplies. We find the best of what you want, and help you find the best suppliers and products that fit into your vision, from all over the US. We
also feel that every person has their own talents and expertise. So, for example, we collaborate with the most talented and spectacular floral
designers for your wedding, rather than limiting you to just what we personally know about flowers. We believe that if you specialize in everything,
that's the same thing as specializing in nothing. That's where the team concept comes in again... We build a team of experts for you to provide you
with the best of everything you need, rather than limiting you to just what we have in our own inventory, supply or knowledge. We'd also like to
mention that you already have some or several vendors chosen for your wedding, that's completely fine. We will communicate with each of them as
we complete your design vision together to make sure everything is seamless and problem-free.

We invite you to schedule a complimentary meeting today. But, some people thrive on the most information they can get right away! For those readers out there, and the couples who want to know more about what we do right here right now, here are answers to some of the questions you may have...
